Do you have to have the speaker plugged in to the power source at all times during use? I thought this was a wireless speaker. null

Thank you for your question. Yes, the SoundTouch 20 series III speaker does not have a built-in rechargeable battery. It needs to be connected to a power source. The system will connect to your home Wi-Fi network to stream music wirelessly, as well as synchronize with other SoundTouch speakers wirelessly. If you are looking for a speaker that was engineered for "on-the-go" use, we'd recommend looking at our SoundLink Bluetooth family of products. We hope this helps!

This product requires it be plugged in. The wireless part refers to Bluetooth audio.
