If your looking for loudness you may want to go with the SoundTouch 30 as it is louder. The 20 of course will raise the volume if that's all you care about. However if you want quality sound the 20 is much richer than most others on the market. If volume is most important to you and quality sound not so much important then you may want to try a company which specializes in volume rather than quality of sound. I prefer BOSE because of quality of sound but you may find more volume elsewhere but I'll bet the quality won't match BOSE. So quality wise yes it is worth the extra 150.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Significantly louder while maintaining sound quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think the sound from the Soundtouch 20 is far superior to the model 10. I had a Soundtouch soundbar and the Soundtouch 20 that I use as a portable unit around the house. It provides real good sound outside as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Soundtouch 20 is twice as loud and powerful than the Soundtouch 20. The Soundtouch 20 is better for larger areas where as the Soundtouch 10 is better for smaller rooms. Use the Soundtouch 20 as the main one and use the 10 in other rooms or areas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I actually bought both. I bought my husband the 20 for the house and the other 10 for my college student. I think it's worth the extra 150 since it can be added on to with other Bose systems. They both played with it on Christmas morning and the sound throughout the house was excellent. My husband also synced his headphones to the 20 and he said it's great. I'm not sure about how much louder the 20 is from the 10.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's quite louder; soundtouch 20 has Led display on system; it looks more high end speaker; personal feel it should only 100 different; if you have more budget will be good to go soundtouch 20;
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The speakers has a better bass sound quality to them. You can certainly tell the difference. It's worth the extra $150 difference in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't hear the volume difference in the store because we didn't crank it up, but definitely heard the sound difference. Deeper, rich sound from the more expensive unit. That was the reason we spent the extra money.
