Connecting to a TV Is there anyway to connect this to a tv via the bluetooth capability? If so, can you tell me any tvs that will do this?

With this speaker, we generally don't recommend using for tv sound wirelessly as it is intended for use with music. On televisions with bluetooth, there can be a delay between the audio and video which is very distracting. There is a 3.5mm auxiliary jack that you could use to connect a Y cable directly from your cable or satellite box and that would be the easiest way to get tv sound with this speaker.

Tv must have Bluetooth on it as well. SoundTouch series III will auto discover the last Bluetooth device connected to it.

I called Bose and was told it will not connect to TV.

I connect using the Bluetooth speaker function on my Samsung UN50JU6500F. Slight lag, but better than the internal speakers on their own.

I connected my vizio tv with blue tooth. BUT will the sound improve with a wired connection thru my tv??

If your tv can connect to a Bluetooth headset or any other Bluetooth speakers then this speaker will work fine with tv.
