• I have a hard-wired (speakers), multi-room home system and this works well. It hooks directly to your old fashioned receiver.

• Yes, just use the RCA cables and the AUX output on the Acoustimass.

• YES, it will work with your acoustimass, i have that theatre system too........Also it will connect to anykind of devices or components as long as there is Aux input such as RCA or Optical input......this bose adapter is great but lack of remote control by itself, you have to use your tablet or smartphone to contol it and it consume bytes data to your devices.
