• Yes you can use any audio input on your receiver . Cd, Tape, Phono

• Most likely yes. You can connect via rca, 1/8 Jack or my favorite optical input. I'm guessing that you meant to type 'Phono' which is the input for a record player. Phone input sounds like a Bluetooth connection and the SoundLink can't send out music via Bluetooth.
