A:AnswerHello GIBRO90. Thanks for your question. You do not necessarily need a receiver for the SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter to work with your TV and existing Bose Cinemate system. For use with a Cinemate system, we'd recommend connecting the SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter directly to your TV. Your TV will need one of the following available audio inputs: RCA (red/white), 3.5mm, or digital optical (in, not out). If your TV has one of these available inputs, you can connect the SoundLink Wireless Link Adapter with one of the included cables. To use the adapter, you'd simply need to switch your TV's source/input to where you connected the adapter. We hope this helps to answer your question!
A:AnswerHello, the Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter can be connected to the Cinemate 15. If you'd like to expand the sound additional SoundTouch speakers can be added and play the same streaming source. Thanks for the inquiry!
A:AnswerThey are two different "systems". The sonos is not a speaker, it has a built-in controller and amp, too. You can use the Sonos app to control it. The Bose piece is a controller without a speaker/amp. It is like using the Sonos Connect (not Connect Amp) which is a controller with no speaker or amp. I won't say there is no way for you to connect the Bose piece to the Sonos, because although it makes my head hurt trying to think about it, you "may" be able to connect the Bose to the Aux input of a Sonos Play 5 (not a Play 3 or Play 1) into the Aux input, but you would have to use two apps and bounce between them, You'd use the BlueTooth in the Bose to allow you to feed your phone or tablet into the Bose piece, using the Bose app to control that, then switch to the Sonos app to get the Sonos Play 5 playing the "Aux" input. But... that would be a nightmare to control and if you do not have a Play 5, it wouldn't work as the lower models have no Aux input. If you really, really need the BlueTooth option, I'd recommend you give up on the Sonos and start adding Bose pieces (they have Soundtouch players that are similar to the Sonos Players as the amp/speaker/controller are all built into one piece. We use the Sonos most of the time unless the user really needs the Bluetooth capability, or needs the presets that the Bose offers, in which case we use Bose. Often a person has several rooms with speakers, so we can just add a few of these Bose pieces and attach each to a 2, 4, or 6 zone amp that has an input for each zone.
A:AnswerHello Nash, thanks for the inquiry about our SoundTouch Wireless Link. We'd recommend Wi-Fi for the best performance and range. Have a great day!
A:AnswerHello Jon, the SoundTouch Wireless Link will add Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming to your Solo 15, the adapter is not designed to rebroadcast the movie audio to your SoundTouch 10. Thank you for the inquiry.
A:AnswerThis adapter is designed for complete systems in another room and for that reason, it wouldn't be a good fit to try and pair the system with a non-Bose subwoofer.
A:AnswerI think it will work with any system. I use it on a built-in Home Onkyo system with 8 wired speakers. It works just fine with that. I set the Onkyo on CD and plug the outputs from the wireless link adapter into that. It got addicting, I now have six other sound touch speakers in different rooms that you can control individually from the app. Or you can put it on play all and they're all perfectly synchronized. So, I've now got 14 total speakers working perfectly.

A:AnswerThe Bose will connect to your system via your home WiFi OR via Bluetooth. Most other gadgets are only Bluetooth which has a range of about 30 feet. WiFi coverage of your home determines where this will work however
A:AnswerThank you for asking. The Link Adapter is designed to receive Bluetooth commands from a mobile phone or tablet as opposed to transmitting a signal to Bluetooth headphones.

A:AnswerThank you for asking. This could certainly connect to the auxiliary jack on your SoundDock 10 and allow it to sync with your existing SoundTouch speaker.
A:AnswerI don't think you want to hook this to a CD player. The Bose Soundtouch adapter is for playing music from your PHONE OR TABLET to your home sound system
