Hello GIBRO90. Thanks for your question. You do not necessarily need a receiver for the SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter to work with your TV and existing Bose Cinemate system. For use with a Cinemate system, we'd recommend connecting the SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter directly to your TV. Your TV will need one of the following available audio inputs: RCA (red/white), 3.5mm, or digital optical (in, not out). If your TV has one of these available inputs, you can connect the SoundLink Wireless Link Adapter with one of the included cables. To use the adapter, you'd simply need to switch your TV's source/input to where you connected the adapter. We hope this helps to answer your question!
