I just received a bose sound wear, and i just found out at the back that it is made for Iphone Ipad and Ipod. Is it really for apple units only? Im an android user. null

It works just fine with all my Android devices. I think it will work with ANY device that broadcasts Bluetooth. That's what I've found, so far.

I use mine with my Galaxy S9+ and it works really well with the Bose Connect app. It allows you to customize the controls on the SoundWear so you can modify what the buttons do, which is a nice feature.
