• No, there are no earbuds. That's the point of the soundwear, it just sits on your shoulders. A person sitting right next to you might be able to hear what your caller was saying if you had it turned up loud, but not someone five feet away.

• No, it is a speaker phone around your neck. Not practical for office use, others can hear it, just not as loud as you can.
