No, there are no earbuds. That's the point of the soundwear, it just sits on your shoulders. A person sitting right next to you might be able to hear what your caller was saying if you had it turned up loud, but not someone five feet away.

Unfortunately they do not provide complete privacy. But they allow you to enjoy without disturbing others who may be in another room

No, it is a speaker phone around your neck. Not practical for office use, others can hear it, just not as loud as you can.
