Can you scan pictures with this? null

I wouldn't recommend this as a picture scanner if you are looking for very high quality scans. This is designed for documents. The max quality is 600dpi. Most flatbed scanners, including the ones combined with printers, will give you much better than that. Works great for documents.

Yes you can. It comes with a clear plastic sleeve to put the pictures in for scanning. I've also used it to scan my state ID without any problems without the sleeve.

I scan in my kids photos from school so I can have a digital copy saved. They look really good. I wouldn't use it if you are looking for a professional quality, but I have been happy with the JPG quality of photos.
