• These bulbs are not meant to be used in fully enclosed fixtures like a glass globe over the bulb. A C-Start switch would be a better option for this.

• Yes, they are blue tooth enabled and works with google assistant. If you have Alexa, you will have to buy the GE hub to hook to wi-fi in order to communicate with the light bulb. Hope this helps, have fun.
