“Is the 3' inch LCD touchscreen? The description on Best Buy's website says it has a LCD touchscreen but Canon has released no such information about the screen being so. Also, I've read many credible photography articles that state there is no touchscreen function. Has best buy been mis-informed or do they know something no one else does?”

It's definitely no touchscreen. Spent more than an hour with that masterpiece of camera at the last Photokina in Cologne. Nevertheless You will love it for the ultra fast and precise auto focus. The perfect built quality the crisp sharp images and much more. My #1 favourite for wildlife and sports photography.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see "touchscreen" used in the features or specifications, on the Best Buy website. The screen is NOT a touchscreen. Navigation through the menus is done with buttons. It is helpful to read the manuals to know how to navigate in the menus.
