Q: QuestionHas anyone used the AF Microadjustment for their lens on this camera? I have a Sigma lens 150-600 mm that is for a Canon and I am not sure if I should do it for this. Thanks for your input and help!

• A:Answer I would advise using the Sigma Dock to make AFMA for a Sigma 150-600mm lens. Because the lens is not a Canon, I would not rely on the Canon camera being able tor recognize it in the future. Also, the Sigma Dock is a far more comprehensive adjustment. It is also far more complex and time consuming to complete. The Canon procedure conducted at two focal lengths and distances, for a total of 4 test shots. The Sigma dock needs 16 test shots, four focal lengths and four distances. Time consuming, but worth the effort.

Q: QuestionWhen will it be available for shipping?This camera doesn't seem to be available for shipping either to my home or my local Omaha store. Fine. I'll go pick one up at my local Best Buy. But wait...It's not available in my area. Hmmm. In which area within a 500 mile radius of my town can I find one? I can try to determine the zip code of every Best Buy store in every major city within that radius and then start plugging in numbers...so far, after about 20 zip codes, I've given up. I guess I'll just have to go buy it somewhere that's not a Best Buy store.

• A:Answer Often times the website inventory is shown for the kit (body + lens), which are packaged individually and can be sold individually. Just ask a sales associate at the store and they should be able to help you further.

Q: QuestionIs the 3' inch LCD touchscreen?The description on Best Buy's website says it has a LCD touchscreen but Canon has released no such information about the screen being so. Also, I've read many credible photography articles that state there is no touchscreen function. Has best buy been mis-informed or do they know something no one else does?

• A:Answer It's definitely no touchscreen. Spent more than an hour with that masterpiece of camera at the last Photokina in Cologne. Nevertheless You will love it for the ultra fast and precise auto focus. The perfect built quality the crisp sharp images and much more. My #1 favourite for wildlife and sports photography.
