If your garage door already works with a garage door opener, the myQ effectively is another one you mount to the ceiling and garage door. So yes, your existing opener still works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.MyQ is an independent device. Think of it as an additional opener with a fancy way of pressing the button (via the phone app). Your standard opener will continue to work as before.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is compatible. I have an Overhead Door System and this works in conjunction with it. I can use the opener switch on my wall, the key-less entry, and my wireless remote just fine. The steps are fairly simple -- 1) connect the module to the wifi network 2) mount the components 3) sign up for an account 4) configure. Not bad at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a compatibility list on their website, which can be referenced with the one you have installed already. I did a cross reference with my model and found it was. I believe it said something like it's compatible with almost every model after 1993 or so.
