My chamberlain garage opener is really old (1980s). I used nothing more than the products supplied and my iPhone to make this work.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The MyQ internet gateway is a device to allow you to add other chamberlain approved zwave type devices. The MYQ garage is a non compatible spin off to the internet gateway. The all in one unit in the MyQ Garage connects to your wifi router wirelessly and creates a connection to the chamberlain website via your secure account. (allowing website or app use to control door) It also acts as a door controller and data receiver for the door sensor unit included with this product. -- Full Disclosure I'm an associate of a BestBuy store but this review/statement is based on my private experience using this product.
