This device doesn't have a battery. It connects to your own external 12v battery, either your vehicle's 12v battery, or perhaps a standalone 12v car battery, if you like lugging one of those around. So how long you can run this depends on a combinations of factors, mainly 1) how much power you're drawing (watts) based on whatever you plug into it, and 2) how much power you have available (how many Ah your battery is; but of course don't run your battery down completely!). There are some things that just don't make sense to power off of an inverter, even if you can power them. A space heater, for example. That would make no sense; it just draws too much power, and you'd do better to just get a standalone kerosene heater.
