“Our DashCam read sd card error so we purchased a new SD card. It says we need to format it. I did so on our PD however it still says it when it is in the dashcam. How do we format the SD card? The dash cam will not stay turned on away from the car.”

• If you go to the very last page of the settings menu on the camera, there is a format SD card option, you will need to format it in the camera itself for it to work.

• always format the card in the camera.that goes for any camera. scroll through the menu and you'll see the format option.
