• Yes. I would say this is brighter than the Ornata Chroma, which is one of Razer's brightest keyboards.

• Hi Litho, I'm afraid we don't have a point of reference nor is there a standard for brightness. What I would recommend is just googling the exact model you're going for and seeing if what other users are posting would be considered bright enough for you.
