Amazing low profile and fast keyboard!!

The keyboard is very fast compared to my old Logitech G15 keyboard that I replaced with this. In fact its too fast that I'm getting used to using it. When I'm typing it's great other then the spacing is different then my old keyboard too. For gaming it is fast and responsive where I don't have to press as hard as before. RGB lighting is awesome looking and love how you can customize it. The software is not the easiest to work with it isn't impossible either just need to play around with it. You can DL custom scripts so you don't have to mess with the customizing. On Corsairs site (forums) they have a couple of links to 2 customizing web sites. USB cable Is one cable but splits to 2 USB cables. I'm using this on a laptop which is already limited ports, but luckily I have a Sabrent 10 port USB hub. Rather not have that port used up for no reason. I use a Bluetooth mouse so I don't need the port behind the keyboard. But it's there if its needed. Why 4 stars? The software is taking some time to figure out and the USB passthrough. Other then that this is a great keyboard and would recommend it to anyone wanting a mechanical keyboard for gaming.

I mostly can only game at night and so it's important for me to have a keyboard that isn't clicking and clacking at every key stroke (so I don't wake the wife). The keys are very quiet while still having that mechanical keyboard feeling. The build quality is also top quality and the RGB is incredible with iCUE. Look for it to go on sale as it is an absolute steal at $99. I would gladly pay up to $120 for this, but the normal asking price of $170 is hard to justify for me as a keyboard purchase (though I know some who would pay hundreds for a keyboard with custom switches). All around a great keyboard for enthusiasts!

    First Mechanical Keyboard

A friend has been telling me that I should upgrade my peripherals. After getting a gaming mouse and enjoying the difference, I finally sprung for the Corsair K70 mechanical keyboard. It's a new experience for sure. Your typing must be more precise, or you'll find yourself typing "the" as "thhheeeee". But once you start getting the hang of it, it makes for more pleasant typing experience. The Cherry MX switches are supposed to be among the more quiet mechanical keyboard switches but they still make a very satisfying clack when you press them. I like the low profile key, which aren't like chiclets but aren't real tall with a long throw. The keyboard has a great build with an aluminum case. I downloaded the Corsair software and set the lighting to plain yellow. I might try another mechanical keyboard in the future as there are many options, but they can be a bit pricey. I'll stick with this one for now.

No Clickety Clack! Love color combinations, too!

This is the first time I have experienced this brand and I must say that I love it. I'm not a gamer, by any means. In fact, I don't play any games at all. I bought this keyboard because it helps me to see when I'm working at night. Since the shelter in place order, I have been working from home and I find that I work more at night than I do during the day. So, when I don't want to have the lights on full brightness, this helps me to make sure I am on the right keys. I really like that I can change the color combination. My laptop has built in lights, but they are white and it's a bit irritating when I'm working in a dark room. This way, I can choose a soothing color or leave it in it's muli-color state. It has various settings and the lights have different motion modes to choose from. I prefer the slow sweeping motion. One thing that I had no clue about, even though I read it before buying it is the low profile keys. I am not a fan of this. There is no room for error with this type of keyboard. So, for those who are not aware, it means that the keys are not as high as a regular keyboard and the distance for the key to travel, when pressed, is much less than the typical keyboard. So, this means you can barely touch a key and that letter will pop up on your screen immediately. So, for example, if I mean to strike the letter "J" and I slightly touch the "H", both letters will show up! This creates so many typos. I have long fingers and they tend to travel more, so the likelihood of me accidentally touching other keys is high. So, if you are not precise in your key strokes, the low profile keyboard may not be for you. I do however like that this keyboard does not clickety clack like the previous gaming back-lit keyboard I had. OMG, it was atrocious all the noise I would make, while working at night. This one is fairly quiet and I really like that. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase. I can't give any less of a score than 5 stars. The low profile does what it's supposed to do, which is take less time and effort to press a key for a result. I simply didn't know what that meant in terms of practical work usage. I would suspect this keyboard would be gamers heaven. Oh! It also has a usb port on the back of the keyboard where you can plug in your mouse, if that's something you would like. I personally use it for a small USB-C cable for my phone. You still have to plug in the additional usb cable that is on the keyboard, to the back of your computer, so you can have connection/power to to the USB port @ the back of the keyboard, as you can see in the pictures.

I’ve been using this keyboard for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! It came with replacement WASD and QWERDF keys. The tool provided with the keyboard made it easy to remove and replace the factory keys with the higher and textured WASD/QWERDF keys. The A, W, and D keys have higher ends to make it comfortable with finger placements. The color of the lights are great! I love how it has three light profiles - spiral rainbow, rain, and rainbow wave. These lights illuminate the keys well in day, as well as the night. I really like how the keyboard has a built-in volume wheel scroll. This makes it so much easier to adjust the volume. Before I had the keyboard, I had to either reach out to my external speaker to lower it down, or open up the volume setting and adjust it on the computer. The wheel makes it much easier to accurately adjust the amount of sound you want to be heard. The keyboard seems to be well made and the cable is nice and thick so you know it won’t get worn out easily. This keyboard is great for gamers and everyday users. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend this to other gamers and everyday users.

I was looking for a low profile keyboard for my new PC. I’ve been an apple user for a long time and transitioned into PC gaming, so this one is a nice transition into mechanical keyboards but with that slight low profile which makes it super comfortable. I do love the RGB and the way it syncs with the rest of my Corsair RGB products

Great construction and the action on the keys feel solid. The iCUE software gives you a lot of options on how you want the lights to react. I set mine to cycle through different colors, but certain keys always show my CPUs temperature. My only knock is that the low profile keys take a lot of getting used to. They angled so that they're thicker at the front than the back. I was kind of expecting them to be the same width all around like the Logitech keyboards of a similar style. Still, this one was on-sale and the regular keys weren't.

I’ll admit I’m a keyboard addict. I own WAY too many of them. This is the latest one that caught my eye. I love the look of the low profile keys and put this one on my short list. The switches themselves are pretty quiet and my typing speeds weren’t affected in any way by them so I like that. The brushed aluminum and the volume roller sealed it for me. I’m loving this keyboard.

Love almost everything about this. The keys are so fluid and smooth. The lights are awesome. I just don't like the wrist pad.. it could be slightly larger and the center of the keyboard is not where you hands line up. So you have to have the keyboard offset by a margin and then your left hand sort of falls off.. I love it but wish it was balanced with some sort of keys on the left side to provide a square look on your desk.

While the Corsair app has a few issues (auto shuts down) the keyboard still keeps all of the settings. You can customize the RGB to your liking and it has a lot of features. What sold me on this keyboard was the ability to lock the windows key so you don’t minimize your game if you accidentally hit it. Very useful if you’re getting sweaty on some ranked games in Siege or anything else that may cause you to slip and miss CTRL or ALT. Would definitely purchase again. The USB pass through is also very useful if you want to have a connection a little closer to you and it helps with cable management.

This thing is bad, in a good way. I purchased it on sale and through the app for delivery. Bestbuy had it to me in what seemed to be no time. Easy to set up, plug in tada!! It lights up like a spastic elf waiting to spread holiday cheer all over the room. In fact in conjunction with the excessively large RGB light mouse pad that sweet keyboard is sitting on the two light up the room enough to make all passers by stop and say things like, wait, that’s cool in there..I didn’t know you were hip. Or Ooo what’s that it looks expensive I’m going to eat ice cream above that fancy keyboard later, okay? I enjoy the little light show in there, it’s perfect for when I’m dark and moody playing Xbox in the shadows but still want to see the colors of the rainbow at mind seizing intervals. The hardware is working flawlessly. No a single issue honestly. From thought to actuality BestBuy made getting this produce into my cluttered office a snap.

as a membrane keyboard user (logitech/microsoft) because they were cheaper in price. i decided to check this one out and after checking out reviews i made my decision and got this one since it was also on sale. this is my first gaming mechanical keyboard, i already had corsair's mouse and mouse pad. so i decided to complete the look with this keyboard. the noise this keyboard makes when i type or game doesn't bother me. but others might feel different. this keyboard comes with a detachable wrist support and it also comes with textured performance keycaps and puller for those that game or just want a different look. and yes! it requires 2 USB ports. you also will need to download corsair's iCUE software to customized this keyboard or to turn off the lights.

I love the low profile keyboard. Has beautiful rgb lighting. I chose this low profile keyboard so I can game while the baby sleeps. Wrist rest it comes with is a plastic attachment. It’s not the best, but it gets the job done. I think if you were to buy another wrist rest it might be higher than the keyboard considering I have a hyperx cloud wrist rest I don’t use anymore because it’s too high (As you can see in the second photo. Keyboard is pricy in my opinion, so I waited to buy this when it came on sale. But the keyboard is great and I couldn’t be any happier with it

I purchased this board to replace the one that came with my PC from CyberPower. The old board was fine it just wouldn't recognize certain (and vital) button combinations which made certain games very difficult. This board has no issues with anything like that. The RGB is, of course, a very nice feature and the customization you have with the profiles is impressive. Be aware that they are VERY low-profile keys which are VERY SENSITIVE and can be pretty annoying at times as I tend to fat-finger things all the time (space bar now included). However, I would recommend this board when on sale if you are into the low-profile keys. I see myself changing this out for a similar version without the short bois on it soon though.

Awesome keyboard, exactly what I was looking for. The keys feel nice and secure. Low profile keys make the keyboard look somewhat slim compared to other mechanical keyboards. Usually using the reg profile k70 and wanted to use a low profile for work. Have been using the low profile exclusively for work and can go for an entire day being at the desk without my wrists hurting at any point. Love my K70 and can't recommend another keyboard for the price.
