• Hello Danh, Thank you for your question, The drive can work with the systems having USB ports. Using X9 as an OS drive is also possible, you can boot from it by selecting it as startup disk, however, since its a USB connections low bandwidth, it may not be suitable for high data transfer from Disk to System via a USB, and as a result, you may notice a performance downgrade. Usually, an internal direct to motherboard connection would provide enough bandwidth. The Team Crucial
