This is my second Crucial - X9, fast read and wright speed, durable and small enough to take it with you anywhere, this is the best USB-C SSD for size, speed and price, from now on I would not get anything else, I would recommended to everyone.

I purchased the 1TB and now I have more than enough space on my Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop. It is also portable and very light weight. This item/product is convenient but also useful when you're in need of more memory on your pc. I highly recommend.

Works well copied folders from multiple pcs. Write speed drops down some times but have not tried more than one cord.

This Crucial external SSD is impressively small and very fast, making it great for quick file transfers and portability. It easily connects to a wide range of devices, and I had no trouble using it with my PC, phone, and console. The build quality feels solid, and the water and drop resistance adds peace of mind for travel. While it performs well overall, it’s not the best value if you’re buying it specifically to store PC games or retro game libraries. Game launch times were a bit inconsistent compared to my internal drives. It works, but it’s not as smooth or responsive as I expected for gaming use. For creators or casual file storage, it’s a solid option, but gamers might want to look elsewhere for the price. Still, the compact size and speed make it a convenient everyday drive.

This drive is compact enough to throw in my camera bag, yet powerful enough to handle editing 4K video directly from it without any lag. Such a small device with 1 TB of memory. Easy to use and very fast for downloading data. The price was very good as well.

Bought this for primarily 4K video editing. It’s tiny, but it’s fast and efficient. It connects to my M1 MacBook Air & iPad Mini 6 with ease. I’m able to transfer files in seconds and exporting is really fast. I would highly recommend for video editing.

Sometimes I forget that stores might have something cheaper than Amazon. This was one of those times. :-) I needed some extra space for my laptop and this was in stock. I bought it online and drive to my nearby Best Buy and it was waiting for me when they opened. It's working great and I appreciate the extra storage space, plus this takes up very little room. "would buy again."

Fast & very compact storage unit. No problem connecting it and was to use the 1TB of storage for gaming

Compact size with a big punch. I’m using it as a Time Machine backup drive for my MacBook Pro M4. The only drawback is that it gets quite warm during large backups, but that’s pretty normal for drives this fast. Performance is excellent, and I’ve had no issues so far. I’d definitely recommend it—especially since you can get 1TB for under $100!

I needed a small portable drive to backup my phone. This drive everything I needed it to at a good speed. I liked it so much, I referred it to one of my customers who was looking for extra storage in lieu of a cloud based service, which they later thanked me for that advice.

It works very well, and using it enabled me (actually the Geek Squad) to get some info off my old Passport, which had evidently crashed. I love that it’s so compact too.
