A:AnswerYou can run any GPU you want in it. The case is big enough that just about anything should fit. You may need to upgrade the PSU too. I don't know what's in the machine now. That may not even be necessary I don't know. Normally stock PSUs aren't powerful enough to run the large graphics cards. However, AMD just released the RX 480 which is VR ready and runs faster than the R9 390X according to AMD and recommends only a 500 watt PSU. Tom's Hardware says that it tends to put quite a strain on the slot in the motherboard, but this PC has a Gigabyte motherboard, so I don't imagine you'll have any trouble running the latest technology. However the RX 480 exceeds the standards for voltage draw on PCI slots according to Tom's Hardware. They are a pretty reputable source for hardware info. There are no limitations on whether or not you can run AMD or NVidia graphics cards. You can run either. It doesn't have to be an AMD graphics card. There may be some tinkering to do with the setup though. I've never installed an NVidia card in an AMD machine, but from what I've read it isn't a problem.
A:AnswerEVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB. There are variations on this card. if that is your price range. than this is the one you should get. I have bought a 4gb video card from evga about a couple years ago, and used it with my i5 quad core. I had no problems playing most games in 720p. i used pcsx2 with dark cloud in 1080p 60fps and it was perfect.
For your power supply i recommend 500 watts or higher. i am planning to upgrade to a 1000watts power supply (Even though it might be a bit excessive.) that amount will insure that i have plenty of power going to all my devices. but really you should be fine with 500watts or higher.
