“The switches work properly in the app, but the physical switches do not - they operate all lights in the room they're in. I was told by your support to put them in separate rooms, but that give up a lot of functionality. Is there a fix?”

Cync Switches that are in the same 'Room' in the app with control all other switches or lights despite being on a separate circuit. This is intended behavior and occurs due to the system the devices create via Bluetooth mesh. If you wish to cease this from occurring simply add the device to its own 'Group' within a 'Room'. Each switch does not need to be in its own 'Room' entirely, but simply 'Grouped' off within the 'Room'. To assign your device to a 'Group' simply select 'Settings' from the top left of the home page, 'Rooms and Devices', tap the 'Room' the switch is in, select 'View Devices', 'Edit this Device' and finally select edit 'Group'.
