I have more Cync lights than other lights at this point. The Cync app may be great, but sometimes you just need the lights immediately. A dedicated light switch is the way to go. Important: There is the other model that lacks the warmth/cool light control. This is better. Even if you don’t care about the warmth, if you do care about having different colorful modes you will want the extra buttons. Why? Cause if you want to end “fireworks mode” or any setting you just tap the warmth button and you will be instantly brought back to normal household lighting. No hassle.

I use it to control multiple C by GE smart lights. It is easy to setup and install. Does the job of turning on and off smart lights and dimming them. It also has buttons to change the temperature of the light (from warm white to daylight white). Not 5 stars because: 1. the title is blatantly misleading. There is no way to change the color of the lights. All it can do is to change the temperature (warm white to daylight white). Which is a nifty feature but I think the title should mention this clearly. 2. The only way to choose which lights it controls is to add this switch to the group or room you want it control. Cannot choose individually. Not a problem but nice to have is to be able to choose what the buttons do. At least some of them. It would be awesome to change colors or ‘scenes’ defined in the app.

Super easy to set up, seems to be working steadily and easy to mount. Honestly I think this switch works better than the bulb.

For a small house these C by GE products work great. A little frustrating setting up compared to some other systems but for the price these are GREAT!

Bright bulbs however longer than normal bulbs doesn’t fit in my fan.

Please note this will only work in the c by ge app, so you cant pair your bulbs to google home and then try to pair those bulbs to this remote. Also, i was told that this remote is not compatible with the c reach, only the mini plugs and the smart switches would enable this device to speak with google home or alexa. C by ge support is great, give them a call/chat if you run into issue with setup.

I love this light switch and dimmer! It is so convenient, especially when your light switch is on the other side of the room. It was easy for me to pair to my Android phone. The dimmer works good and I can turn the lights on and off easily.

This has been a great addition to the home. I paired it with two bulbs placed in fixtures that previously operated with pull strings. It was so nice to just attach it to the wall and link with the bulbs. We no longer have to enter a dark room to get to the pull string!

Works great with making power switches a 3 way option with out having to do any wires. Also works great for lamps

Sadly can't use the google home app to have a physical button to control smart lights but that was my fault for not reading the packaging. works perfectly if lights and switch are paired in the C by GE app though. Don't use it if you're going through the google home app
