Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Please note that this camera also includes the D-ViewCam software, which adds enhanced features and functionality that helps you create a full surveillance system for up to 32 cameras. In Addition with the D-ViewCam software, you can view multiple cameras at the same time, and also record video, and set up scheduled and triggered recordings. Thank you for choosing D-Link.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The D-Link 5020L is an IP cam, designed to communicate with your router and interact with your network. It can save video to an SD memory card inserted into the camera, and/or save files to any storage device on the network - like your computer's hard drive. It can also upload video (and images) to a FTP site on the Internet. With a saved file, you can view the video when you want to, pause, fast forward, rewind, and slo-mo if the player allows it. The least likely method for a thief to tamper with is online storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not fully explored all the recording possibilities, because I just don't have the need for full-time surveillance. However, I do know that there are many possibilities for recording, including some that do not require the support of a viewing PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no recording device on this camera. That would cost a lot more and would either be an added device or a different device. Check with the DLink website.
