I believe the Surface pen is N-trig technology, which is different from the Wacom technology in this, so I don't believe it would work. The Bamboo pen should. I would recommend the bamboo pen over the dell pen that comes with it because the dell pen has very poor customization options for the buttons on the pen. I've been trying to set one of them to be a right click (simple right!?) They don't have right click as an option and instead it only gives you a context-sensitive option that doesn't work as right click all the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a big collection of styluses, and this particular Dell uses a Wacom based tech. So yes, you can configure the Bamboo Ink to work (you can set the Bambook Ink to work on the Surface book as well, but switching it over by pressing the button 5 times *as I recall, but read the instructions) but the Surface pens do not work. I have several styluses that work, but the Dell pen is actually the highest quality and easiest to use pen I have--has a configurable eraser button and a few buttons on the body. I really would choose it over the Bamboo Ink if I could only have one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using the included pen. I have not tested any other pens. My thoughts on this matter is if they are type of pen it should work. Since i dont any graphics type work i havent really explored pens.
