“What is the diffrence between the 2 Dynex 6' HDMI cables besides price? Best buy sells 2 different Dynex 6' HDMI cord one says direct black for $5.49 and the other is $19.99. They only carry the $19.99 cord in the store and you have to order the cheaper one. What is the difference besides one cost 4x more?”

I would believe it's the cable material and braiding of it that enhances the quality of the signal it's transferring .

I believe the 19.99 one is for higher speed transfer and possibly better made, really couldn't tell you anything more than that.

Do some research. Expensive cables and cheap ones just make a digital connection just like your usb cables. So there is no difference. Just price. You could by a cable that is $100.00 and it still does the same thing.

The more expensive cable is likely made from higher quality materials, but functionally there is no difference. The more expensive cable does not offer any benefits over the lesser expensive one.

The more expensive one has a 1 year warranty while the cheaper one has a 90 day warranty.

The DX-AV008 comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty compared to the 90 day warranty of the DX-Sf116.
