- Answer connect both to the TV then go you your menu on TV to select "input device" or "source" it should work fine from there.

QuestionHow do I fix the color saturation on my tv when using this?When I connect my laptop to my Samsung tv using this HDMI cable, the colors are ridiculously bright and oversaturated - everything is all green, pink, blue, and yellow. I've tried changing all the picture settings on the tv, but nothing helps. I've tried unplugging and replugging the cable. I've tried switching between the HDMI 2 (DVI) and HDMI 1 (STB) ports. I have only one HDMI port on my laptop.

- Answer Try adjusting the output settings from your computer, I have used this cable with my Samsung laptop and have no problem with it!

QuestionI have this cord and just got a 1080p tv. The tv says that it's only giving me 720p. Any ideas why?

- Answer You may have a 1080 tv but using a 720 video source, I know my tv when using the cable box, is a lower number since the box is not an HD box but my Roku delivers a full 1080 signal

QuestionI'm buying Roku and the cable comes up as recommended. Why do I need it? Doesn't Roku come with a connection cable?

- Answer It will have better picture quality with an HDMI cord, but you have to check to make sure your TV has the hdmi ports. That being said, it does come with the standard yellow, white, red audio video cable.

- Answer I use this to access HULU Plus, Netflix etc. thru my bluray player. It works great. I can even connect to google and such on my tv.

QuestionWhat is the diffrence between the 2 Dynex 6' HDMI cables besides price?Best buy sells 2 different Dynex 6' HDMI cord one says direct black for $5.49 and the other is $19.99. They only carry the $19.99 cord in the store and you have to order the cheaper one. What is the difference besides one cost 4x more?

- Answer Then, it's not the cable. Take a look at what's going on with the other videos. Does audio play for them through non-HDMI interfaces?

- Answer Try holding Fn key down then on top row press the button that looks like a monitor. This should bring up your display options.

- Answer If your converter box has an HDMI output and you have an HDMI TV, you only need the HDMI cable to connect the two. An HDMI interface carries all the signals, audio and video.
