Try holding Fn key down then on top row press the button that looks like a monitor. This should bring up your display options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you connect the cable from your computer to your TV, first make sure that your TV is set to the inappropriate input. Then on your PC, right click on the desktop and go to "Screen Resolution". From there you need to change the following drop down boxes: Display - Select your TV model Multiple Displays - "extend desktop to this display You will see some flashing on both screens while it enables the output portion of your video card. you should then be able top drag your movie from your laptop screen to the TV screen. Maximize that bad boy or full screen and enjoy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have your laptop connected to your TV but you aren't able to watch a movie, the problem is probably a setting in the operating system. You could be seeing one of several problems depending on what you are actually trying to do, and what behavior you are actually seeing. Additionally the way to fix that depends not only on what problem you are seeing, but also what operating system you have and potentially what graphics driver you have installed. As a final note I'm guessing you're using either non-windows or an old version of windows, because all newer versions of windows (vista and newer) come with Windows Media Center which auto-detects a lot of these settings and sets them for you.
