QuestionWhat connector goes into the female port? I need to connect from my Android's micro USB. If not this one, which one do I need?

- Answer The HDMI is the female, the other is a male display [for use in a female display port] not a USB [ I know it looks like a USB]. My computer does not have a HDMI port on it but has what is called display ports and they are listed as such and not USB ports.

- Answer Your question is bit confusing. I will try to answer with my best knowledge. Roku is striking device connect to HDMI PORT to TV or Monitor then you can connect to internet to stream free tv service like News,YouTube. If you want to connect to your Tower with display port it will not work because display port is out put of your tower unless you have HDMI input port on you video board. I hope this will help you to understand.

- Answer Usually a mac laptop has a mini display port not a full size If your mac has a full size display port and your projector has hdmi in then it should work but check the connector size
