Hi Anita, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson 360 Eye. The Dyson 360 Eye will not operate with 2 docking stations. You can move it from one floor to the next with no problems. It will come with instructions per the country in which it was purchased in. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service
