Same rationale as any other brush bar vacuum, if it would get stuck in there, it will with the robot. We clean bin and brush bar every time. Family of 5, mom and 3 girls all with long hair.

Should you notice any buildup of hair or debris, the Dyson 360 Eye robot features a removable brushbar that allows for easy cleaning. It also features two washable filters. The pre-motor filter is accessed by pushing a button located on top of the machine. It is located behind the bin and cyclones. It needs to be washed in cold water once a month and left to completely dry for 24 hours before being put back in the machine. The same instructions apply for the post-motor filter. It can be located at the back of the machine and can be accessed by removing the backplate. Best wishes, Dan
