• Hello Joydee, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can disable the brush bar on all Dyson upright machines. There will be a brush bar power button right next to the machine power button. Once you have the machine on and reclined, you can disable the brush bar. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
