“I have the Dyson animal ball vacuum snd love it. It’s getting pretty old now and when I vacuum the beater bar stops going around. I stop and let it rest for a few minutes and when I start it back up it works. Why is it doing this? Thank you Debbie”

Probably hair is wrapped around bar causing fuse to blow. I generally clean these out every few months. Pretty easy to do. If you can't initially see how then YouTube it.
