“How does this handle on dense Carpet? I see a lot of the reviews say it works wonderful on wood floors but how about on Carpet? Does it get bogged down?”

Hi Megan, This is Carissa with Dyson. Our Dyson Ball seals in suction across carpets and hard floors. The motorized brush bar with stiff nylon bristles drives deep into carpet to remove ground-in dirt. An active base plate automatically adjusts the cleaner head height to seal in suction across carpets. This ensures that even the microscopic particles between floorboards are sucked up into the vacuum. The motorized brush bar with stiff nylon bristles drives deep into carpet to remove ground-in dirt. However, if you have thick/plush area rugs, it is better to use the hose/wand and the floor attachment. That is the only time the vacuum has bogged down and the better area rugs may not hold up well having the super suction of the regular head going over them too often.
