“Does the vacuum have a heat sensor? After vacuuming for a while, it shut down, would not turn back on. I left it plugged in and in like 10 minutes it started up all by it self? Crazy”

Yes it indeed does. I would suggest making sure the filters are clean, and depending how high your carpet piling is, taking short breaks. The sensor is a thermal overload switch. It is outstanding Dyson cares for it's consumers and equipment.
