How long is the cord? null

One person just commented that the cord is 35 feet long. I can say that it is LOOOONG - I'd complain about its length because of how long it takes me to wind it back around the unit, but I appreciate the length. I live in a split-level home, the bottom has 4 stairs up to the middle and then 8 stairs up to the top. I can vacuum all 12 stairs while it's still plugged in in the lowest level and most of the hallway all the way upstairs as well without having to change where the cord is plugged in.
