Yes, it can have two attachments at all times by the canister.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson Ball Animal features a tool latch that will hold the combination and stair tools. We unfortunately don't have any other type clip which would allow for extra on-board tool attachments. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
