A:AnswerMaybe you are letting the trash canister being filled pass the max fill line? Try emptying the vacuum @3/4 full.

A:AnswerHello JaniceLynn, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal vacuum's brush bar will always be spinning. None of our cordless models have the capability to shut that off. Our upright models and most of the canister models offer brush bar control. If you have bare/hard floors and are concerned with spinning bristles, a soft roller head is available for purchase separately; which was the tool engineered especially for hard floors.
