Don’t recharge the battery right after use. Don’t over-drain your lithium battery. Just don’t charge any lithium batteries when they are hot or even warm to touch. Google lithium battery care. My other dyson lasted for 4 years already without the battery going out on me. Instead the trigger button worn out me first...

Definitely. The batteries they use are top notch Samsung or Panasonic cells, it is not hard to get a replacement from Dyson. I have in the past.
