Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our V7 line of cord free machines will provide you with up to 30 minutes of run time, and 100 air watts of suction power. When comparing that to our upright corded models, suction on those varies from 180-270 air watts, making their suction significantly stronger. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
