A:AnswerI have a golden retriever. Hair does get wound around the screws that hold the roller. There is no way to take it apart to remove the hair. I tried to use the tweezers to remove the hair and couldn't get it all. So far its still working.
A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Fluffy features our soft roller cleaner head, which was engineered specifically for bare floors. If you're looking for a machine that features this soft roller for bare floors, plus our direct-drive head with spinning brush bar for carpeting, the Absolute model would be the most beneficial, as it includes both heads in the box.

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our V7 line of cord free machines will provide you with up to 30 minutes of run time, and 100 air watts of suction power. When comparing that to our upright corded models, suction on those varies from 180-270 air watts, making their suction significantly stronger.

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Fluffy only comes with the soft roller head. when using any type of motorized tool, run time will be less. If using your machine in MAX power, you can expect run time of up to 7 minutes, as MAX provides a boost of suction and power. When using the machine in regular power, which is sufficient for most household vacuuming, the run time with a motorized tool or attachment will be up to 20 minutes. The cord-free machines do not include, nor do we make, a non-motorized floor cleaning attachment.

A:AnswerHello Deb, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V7 Fluffy does have a HEPA filter. You'll have two filters on this machine. The pre-motor filter is the cone-shape filter that sits inside of the cyclone, and the post-motor HEPA filter is the blue twist-on filter on the back of the machine.

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Fluffy can be charged in one of two ways. You can use the included wall mounted dock, to store and charge your machine. The included charger will thread behind that dock, so one end of the charger plugs in to your electrical outlet, and the other end will connect in to the dock. You can also omit the dock, and just plug the charger directly in to the vacuum to charge it.

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. A few of our machines use dual voltage transformers making them compatible across a range of voltages. This is why the chargers on the cordless state they will work on 110-240 voltage. However, it's still advisable not to use outside the country of purchase.
One of the reasons for advising against the use of machine outside of the country that they are sold in is that the machines are tested and certified to meet that countries regulations and requirements. For example a US machine is tested and certified to UL, ETL and FCC regulations to ensure that it is fit for retail. In the UK this would be BEAB, BS, IEC and CE, Canada CSA and so on. Each country has its own rules and regulations. We do not guarantee that a machine used outside of the country it is sold in meets all of the requirements of the second country. Plus, per the owner's manual it explains not to use internationally to avoid impact.

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Fluffy, with the combination tool (with the brush end) works wonderfully on mini-blinds. You can attach that tool directly to the clear bin, or the wand end of the machine for extended reach.

A:AnswerHi Mary, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Fluffy features our soft-roller cleaner head, which was specifically engineered for use on hard flooring. We do carry the Motorhead which features the spinning brush bar for use on carpeting. A:AnswerHello Paula, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V7 Fluffy comes with our soft roller head floor tool. This floor tool was made specifically for use on bare floors. This tool won't work on carpeting, but if you have all, or mostly all hardwood, this is the perfect machine for your home.

A:AnswerYou probably wound not want to use the fluffy head on carpet because it is designed for hard surfaces, but you can still use the regular attachments. Make sure you chose a head designed for carpet, and I would consider a V8 or V10 or better (instead of a V7) because they have longer battery life.
A:AnswerMy box didn’t say 220/240 but the power adapter ended up being 100-240V anyway. I bought a similar second V7 kit, same thing. So we are likely good for 220V.
