Hi Mary, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Fluffy features our soft-roller cleaner head, which was specifically engineered for use on hard flooring. We do carry the Motorhead which features the spinning brush bar for use on carpeting. If you are not able to find this floor tool at your local Dyson retailer, it is carried through Dyson directly as well. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
