A:AnswerHello Sam, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson V8 Animal will have two filters; one that sits inside of the cyclone, and the HEPA filter on the back of the motor. You will want to wash these once a month. With regular maintenance and care, you shouldn't ever have to replace them.

A:AnswerSoft roller is good for hardwood floors. But v8 animal does not come with it but only with the regular head. So I’m not sure whether you have v8 animal or v8 absolute.
A:AnswerI do not know about additional attachments but I can tell you I use this on wood, time and carpet and have had no issues with marks on my wood floor.

A:AnswerThe docking/charging station must be plugged into the wall so presumably the country is just referring to that outlet plug. The handheld detached from the stick, the stick is also detachable from the beater on the floor. I think the stick is about 2.5-3ft long, it’s easy to switch attachments
