I purchased the N20 Pro Plus because the salesperson said that it had the ability to avoid the drop off of stairs. Several websites say that it does have that ability but the directions seem to say put a guard across the stairs. null

Yes you can add virtual boundaries (see attached image). The blue check is the vacuum side, the red x is the avoid side. The vacuum will not allow any part of itself to cross this line.

Additionally, you can set up virtual boundaries to keep it away from the edges of the stairs.
