Q: QuestionGreetings, does this unit have a carpet auto detect sensor and stops mopping when encountering a carpet?

• A:Answer Yes it does. Carpet that has been identified by the robot shows up as textured in your map and the robot will stay off carpet when mopping. The only caviat to this would be, if the robot has to cross carpet to get to a hard floor, I’m unsure how it would handle this.

Q: QuestionI purchased the N20 Pro Plus because the salesperson said that it had the ability to avoid the drop off of stairs. Several websites say that it does have that ability but the directions seem to say put a guard across the stairs.
