Dyson - Spot+Scrub Ai Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum - Matched Black/Blue

The robot maps your home quickly and navigates well. I like to set it to vacuum the entire home then mop the floors as a seperate run/job. I have both carpet and hard flooring. The latest update seems to have given the robot more confidence as it gets closer to things like chair legs with its side brushes and it moves around more quickly. If updates keep coming and make more improvements to the robot and the app I would be very happy. Two things I do not like about the product as of now is that it is huge (tall and wide). The toe kick area for my counters are 0.25in too low so the robot can't reach under them and just bumps into the cabinets constantly. Selling side brushes that have longer bristles would probably be the easiest way to solve this problem. I also wish the app had a "favorite" routine setting that's not tied to scheduling. I don't really have a set schedule of when I am or am not home so I miss this "favorites" feature my old Roomba has in its app. Other than that, I am happy with both the vacuuming and mopping capabilities of this robot. FYI, I've been using the Bissell CrossWave PET PRO OXY Multi-Surface Formula instead of Dyson's own. It doesn't foam up and it leaves my floors clean. It's also easy to purchase since Dyson's one has been sold out forever.

I've used a lot of Robot Vacuums over the years, some great, some not so great but I had really high hopes for this Dyson Spot+Scrub because all of my Dyson products tend to shine in both form and function. When I first pulled this Dyson Robot out of the box, I immediately remarked how BIG it is. It is massive, both the base station but also the robot vacuum itself was massive. This contributes to probably the biggest flaw of the unit. IT IS MASSIVE and too tall to fit under my cabinets. Some units had problems with this too but they had a tower with some of the cameras and imaging to help get under cabinets, but this Dyson has real height issues so I wanted to cover this up front for anyone looking at this unit. I believe it needs about 4 3/4" to clear cleanly. If it hits any resistance on top, the vacuum will stop, it will back itself out and try again. There's a lot to like about this unit as well as some more negatives, but let me go ahead and cover the positives: 1. Single App shared with Dyson fans: This is kind of nice as you don't need to download a different Dyson app. All the functionality of this robot vacuum is in the same app and you can just load and manage this vacuum along your other apps. 2. Great App functionality: The app is definitely a strong point of the experience as you can easily choose which room you want to clean, watch in real time as your robot moves around, and also choose how each room is to be cleaned. So you can choose vacuum + wash, vacuum then wash, vacuum etc. You can also choose the strength of vacuum and how much water is used when washing. It works very, very well. 3. The MOP function is GREAT and the first of its kind that's worth using: Someone finally put a rollerhead on the robot itself and also put a good size clean and dirty water tank so that it can actually output a lot of water while it mops. The rollerhead does a much better job of previous units that just had a pad that kind of kicked dirt around and got dirty over time and required you to manually remove and clean the pads. This Dyson will actually clean the head, evacuate it and then also heat and clean the head while its docked. Very cool. This is probably the best feature of the physical unit. Another cool feature of the mop is that it will shift left and right on the robot to get closer to a wall or base board. 4. The Individual canisters are a nice touch. The trash canister has the typical Dyson livery and look to it but the handles for the clean and dirty water are also a nice touch. It does contribute to the massiveness of the unit but it feels good and quality. 5. The robot itself does a nice job of moving systematically, in rows to clean. It also reliably finds its way home and docks. I've had some units that would not reliably roll up their own ramp and needed to be lifted manually, what a pain! 6. The Dyson robot uses LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) so it can clean without the lights turned on! Its very cool the green light goes out and looks like something out of an Alien movie and you can see how the LIDAR green beam highlights the bits of trash to get cleaned. And here are some of the problems I had with the unit. I took off 2 stars because I felt 4 stars was still rating it too highly given the severity of the problems I encountered. It is possible they fix some of the issues and its a solid 4 star product, but many would consider the height and size issue a big enough problem to only give it 3-4 stars. - As mentioned the unit is very large. The height keeps it from sneaking in under cabinets with just over 4.5" clearance. Also, it is very wide too, so it likely won't fit between the toilet and vanity like my old one did and even in and around chairs if you don't put them up. - The Connection is VERY spotty. This is the other main reason I took a star off. I constantly saw No Connection to the robot unit even though the Wi-Fi would connect and I would re-pair and it would pair again. The robot simply did not show up in my phone even though some of the stats would update, like time cleaned. What I ended up doing was hitting the home button, and that seemed to INSTANTLY wake up and pair the robot with my phone so I could then start a job. Now I am watching the cleaning job complete and its been in synch the entire time. This can and likely will be fixed in an update but right NOW, I had to take a star off for this. But, try to hit the Home button on the robot and see if you can get it to pair if you run into this issue. - This is kind of minor, but they show a Dyson cleaning solution to put in the clean water tank, but the unit does NOT include the cleaning solution? What's up with that Dyson? People buy a thousand dollar vacuum from you and you don't include the cleaning solution? I tore the box apart and still didn't see it, if I missed it please let me know!!! - There is NO EASY WAY to invite a spouse or other family member into my Dyson account so they can kick off cleaning on their phone too. Other companies have solved this issue, unless I missed it (I spent 15mins looking into it) this is a major nuisance the software team needs to handle. - Personally I don't think it looks great like most Dyson units look, especially the fans/purifiers and the handheld vacuums. This Robot does not look like a high-end Dyson product if I'm being fully honest. The robot while being very quality in build and functionality, does not look like anything luxe. So there it is, if you have a newer home or apartment with kitchens that have flush bases with no indent and toekicks that are flush with the cabinets, you are good, but if you have overhanging or cantilevered cabinets you will want to make sure to measure. We're personally going to just use our Tineco to get under the cabinets for now but it is still annoying. We just love how well the roller mop cleans and also the vacuum function is also excellent with the power of suction and cleaning results. We also love how it is just 1 app to control 4 of our Dyson products. The roller mop, self cleaning and drying cycle show a LOT of thought went into this unit over at Dyson but they overlooked some of the basics. They can fix some via software updates but that height is a really glaring problem to miss.

For the last month, I've been testing the new 2026 model Dyson Spot+Scrub AI Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum. Overall, it's quick, quiet, easy to use, and performs phenomenally on wood floors and thin rugs. There is a lot to love about this Dyson Spot+Scrub. First, the vacuum quickly connected to my network and never dropped the connection. The app is intuitive and easy to use. It was always able to communicate with the robot vac, and it was easy to identify the specific spaces I wanted to clean. Performance is top-notch. It easily picked up all the dog hair in my house and mopped the floors to a streak-free shine. It seriously has the best suction and is significantly quieter than any other robot MopVac I have tested. It's also faster. Every time I have it clean, it cleans in half the time of any robot vacuum I have tested. Maintaining it is also simple; there are three bins that are extremely easy to fill or empty out. However, the only real drawbacks are its height and noisy cleaning cycle. It is about 1/4 inch too tall to clean under my furniture and cabinets, and at times, it didn't know its own strength. On a few occasions, it would wedge itself under furniture and get stuck or scratch up the top of the vacuum. While cleaning, it's as quiet as a whisper. However, when it returned to its base, it was noticeably louder when it was emptying and cleaning itself out. With that said, the Spot+Scrub AI is an excellent robot vacuum, and even with its drawbacks, it easily earns my recommendation.

The Dyson Spot + Scrub AI Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum feels like Dyson took everything they know about airflow, sensors, and obsessive cleaning engineering and gave it a brain. Now, Dyson has been in the vacuum business for quite some time and have done quite well for themselves. A few years back they decided to set into the world of robot vacuum and well that did not really work out to well for them, if you remember their first robot vacuum, until now. Introducing the all-new Dyson Spot + Scrub AI Wet and Dry robot vacuum cleaner. This is precision cleaning at its best, well for some areas that is. Let’s go over what the new Dyson has to offer. Design: Right out of the box, the design screams premium. It has that signature Dyson aesthetics, clean lines, transparent elements, and a build that looks more like a high-end gadget than a cleaning tool. Setting up the robot vacuum itself will take a few minutes, just putting some parts together and getting it ready to link up with the Dyson app. Once the linked up, the mapping process was pretty fast, I would say about 20 to setup a detailed map of my first floor, along with the area rugs and furniture. I do want to mention that is probably the largest and the heaviest robot vacuum that I have tested so far. Specs: Without the base Weight: 14.5 pounds Height: 4.3 inches Width: 14.7 inches Length: 14.6 inches As I had mentioned, this robot vacuum is pretty heavy for a robot vacuum cleaner, just keep that in mind. Not as simple for you kids to just move it back to base or move it around if needed. The second issue is how tall the robot vacuum clean is. This is about 4.3 inches in height, meaning it has a hard time cleaning in and around some of my household furniture, that my other robot cleaner has no issue with. This may not a big deal for some people but was a bit an issue for me because it not able to clean under and around my dinner table area. Performance: Where this thing really shines is its AI-powered cleaning system. The Spot + Scrub feature is the star of the show. I personally wanted to test out this feature to make sure it actually works as advertised and it absolutely does. To test out the feature, I smeared a bit of peanut butter on my laminate floor and watched this robot go back and forth a few times until it was completely gone, unlike my other robot which only does one sweep of the area and moves on. The wet and dry combo is also done right. Unlike a lot of hybrid robots that feel like they’re just dragging a damp cloth around, this actually scrubs. The dual-action system lifts debris while actively washing the floor, and it manages water distribution well enough that you’re not left with streaks or overly wet patches. Hardwood, tile, laminate, it handles transitions smoothly. Suction power is exactly what you’d expect from Dyson: strong, consistent, and noticeably better than my other known brand robot. Every time this thing goes out it always come back with something. Living in a house with 3 females, hair used to be an issue but no more—it picks everything up without needing multiple passes. And it’s surprisingly good along edges and corners as well. Battery Life: The stated battery life on normal settings is stated to be at about 200 minutes. My first floor is about 1000 sq ft. and I use this on the Boost setting and vacuums and mops without having to recharge and usually takes about an hour to hour and half. Overall, Dyson has done a great job with this robot vacuum cleaner. it cleans well enough that you don’t have to, sure, it’s not the best at squeezing under low furniture, but everywhere it can reach, it absolutely dominates. If you’re in the market and can overlook the bulkiness, this is definitely a robot I would recommend.
