“How do you know when the device is full and needs to be emptied? And does it recognize it is full by weight of it's load or some other way?”

• It doesn’t tell you if it’s full. It only takes a few seconds to pull the bin (one release button) and empty. I empty it on the cleaning days when I get home from work and it is really simple.

• The only way to know is to open the bin and look. This is a VERY basic vacuum.

• You just have to check it. The back of the bin is see through, so it is easy to check.
