A:AnswerIt comes with a remote so you can use all the functions. The app is nice though because it tell you how much battery life is left in the vacume and when you should replace and clean filters and brushes
A:AnswerIt would not clean a staircase. It has drop sensors that will keep it from going over the edge of a stairs. If you have an upstairs, it will clean that level without going over the edge of the stairs.
A:AnswerNot sure what your problem would be. We have 4 mid size dogs with a variety of hair types and our debot 79 does it all on low shagg carpet and wood floors. Are you sure the filters are not blocked?
A:AnswerFor homes that contain a large number of rugs or thick carpets, we do not recommend the N79SE. For optimal performance, the N79SE is best used on hardwood and tiles floors, or on light colored thin, low-pile carpets.
A:AnswerI don't have that type of tile personally but yes I don't see why it wouldn't. It works on my laminate, hardwood, tile, and area rugs without issue and transitions well between them. Although when it's not on carpet or a rug it does tend to be louder.
A:AnswerI recommend using the max power mode when dealing with smaller particles like sand. The robot vacuum does really well at suction on hard floors and low caepets. However the side brushes do tend to push around dirt and sand ( this is common for most robot vacuums). But the algorithm seems to pick up everything eventually after a full run around the house
