• I don't see why not. I use mine on regular old hard woods and area rugs and have had no issues.

• The DEEBOT N79SE will work on vinyl plank flooring, however, depending on how dark the flooring is it could trigger the unit's anti-drop sensors thinking it is falling over a ledge.
